About Aaron

Aaron Estabrook is a community builder, veteran, dad, and problem-solver who has spent his life fighting for fairness and opportunity in Kansas. From serving our country in uniform to serving Manhattan families through the Housing Authority, Aaron has always stepped up when something isn’t working and people are getting a raw deal.

As Executive Director of the Manhattan Housing Authority, Aaron has led major improvements in housing safety, financial stability, and accountability. He works every day to make sure seniors, working families, and people with disabilities have a real chance to get ahead not just get by.

Aaron is also a small-business owner who understands what it takes to make payroll, manage rising costs, and navigate government red tape. He founded the United Kansas Party to give everyday Kansans a voice outside the extremes, rooted in common-sense, dignity, and local solutions.

Aaron and his wife Dantia are raising their family in Manhattan, where they stay deeply involved in youth programs, veterans support, and immigrant resettlement efforts.

Why am I running? Because I care about you.

For too long, Kansas families have gotten a raw deal. Housing costs keep rising. Healthcare is out of reach. Childcare is unaffordable. Mental health services are stretched too thin. And meanwhile, Topeka keeps playing politics instead of solving problems.

I’m running for State House because:

Families deserve affordable homes in safe neighborhoods.
Seniors deserve dignity, not waitlists.
Small businesses deserve room to grow without getting crushed by rules written by people who’ve never run one.
Mental health care should be accessible, not a crisis.
Kansans deserve common-sense leadership, not culture wars.

I’m not running for a title. I’m running because you deserve better and I know we can build it together.

Priorities

Kansas doesn’t need more drama it needs results. Here’s what I’ll fight for in the Legislature:

Affordable Housing That Works

As someone responsible for 200+ homes in Manhattan, Aaron knows how to fix broken systems and deliver results. In the Legislature, he will push to:

Expand workforce and affordable housing options
Cut red tape for local housing solutions
Invest in modern infrastructure and energy-efficient buildings

Lower Costs for Families

Kansans are working hard, but costs keep climbing. Aaron will work to:

Lower healthcare premiums and prescription costs
Expand Medicaid to cover working families
Reduce childcare costs and expand availability

Mental Health and Recovery

Kansas ranks near the bottom in mental health access. Aaron will champion:

More community-based mental health services
Better support for youth and school-based care
Smart investments in addiction recovery and prevention

Strong Rural and Small Business Communities

Small businesses power Kansas. As an entrepreneur, Aaron understands what they need:

Fair regulations that don’t crush startups
Investment in broadband, transportation, and rural infrastructure
Support for local agriculture and value-added markets

Veterans and Military Families

As a veteran, Aaron is committed to:

Improving access to benefits
Strengthening protections for service members
Expanding housing and job programs for transitioning veterans

United Kansas

Aaron founded the United Kansas Party to give voice to the majority of Kansans who are tired of extremes and ready for solutions. He believes in:

Respect for every Kansan
Local control and local solutions
Fiscal responsibility and transparency
Problem-solving instead of partisanship

United Kansas is a home for pragmatists, problem-solvers, and people who care about their neighbors and Aaron is ready to bring that spirit to the State House.
